Mission:
Stretch-n-Grow CLT/LKN exists to bring exceptional children’s fitness and movement programs to schools/ centers across Greater Charlotte. Through strong partnerships, we help children grow strong and confident, empower staff with fresh ideas, and provide families with peace of mind that their child is building skills for a healthy, successful life.
When her youngest went to Kindergarten 2019, Owner/ Executive Director Kori Sullivan saw a post from a friend about needing preschool fitness coaches and came on as a coach.
"With my kids in school full time, I wanted to branch out and try something different! And having the flexibility to be able to still be there for my kids was amazing," says Kori
Immediately, she fell in love with the program. In early 2020, Kori, a former collegiate athlete, preschool teacher, and mom of 2 teenagers, purchased Stretch-n-Grow of Charlotte/Lake Norman.
Originally from Connecticut, Kori grew up in a preschool setting as her mom ran a NAEYC accredited preschool. Her summers throughout high school and college were spent working with her mom at Work and Play School, so teaching preschoolers is second nature. She also loves coaching youth sports, from cheerleading, to coaching her own kids in basketball, T-Ball, soccer and flag football, she has a ton of experience to pull from when coaching!
"As a family, we love to exercise and get outside. Whether it's going to Burn Bootcamp Lake Norman, hiking, biking, swimming, soccer or walking our 2 rescue dogs, being active is an integral part of our family lifestyle, " Kori says.
With her managerial and sales skills as well as her innate teaching abilities and the stellar, EXCERciting curriculum, becoming owner was an easy decision.
"I love that SNG brings a play-based, fun mentality to overall healthy living. SNG gives them tools to strength their bodies and their minds. I'm excited to help the next generation of healthy kiddos!" shares Kori.

OUR CURRICULUM
Our school partners have an amazing educational curriculum, but they know the benefits of out-sourcing their enrichment classes to Stretch-n-Grow. You want programs that line up with state and national standards and deliver the outcomes that parents expect and kids need. No matter what class experience our coaches are delivering, we aim to get kids moving – and that helps with focus, self-control, improved academic performance and better health!
